EuroSeal Roof Paint
Description
Euroseal is an elastomeric roof coating manufactured with a water-based emulsion of acrylic resins.
Properties:
Euroseal is a coating specifically formulated for the protection of roofs, bituminous surfaces, membranes, etc. Euroseal is a non-toxic water-based coating that bonds perfectly to bitumen, concrete, tiles, wood and galvalized steel. Once set, Euroseal will form a highly reflectant, white, elastic barrier which will protect the underlying surface from solar damage. The set film produced with Euroseal has a minimum elasticity of 400% and is stable at a high range of temperatures. Euroseal resists high temperatures, does not crack at low temperatures, and has very good reflective characteristics. The dry film shows no deformation such as sagging or flowing for extended periods of time at service temperature. The final cured material is resistant to acidic and alkaline conditions and is impenetrable by water, as well as tolerant of oils, fuel and solvents.
Application:
Minor setting of the material is expected with storage, therefore, prior to application Euroseal should be subjected to simple stirring. The first coat of the material can be diluted with 20% water for use as a primer. Subsequent coatings can be diluted with up to 10% water. The final coating should not be diluted. Application is usually done by spraying, brush or roll. A typical application rate is 0.25 L/m2.
